Ring in the New Year at the Geisha House Hollywood New Year’s Eve 2010 bash. Tickets start at only $40 and Pixnation has the LOWEST service fees in the industry! Save money in this tough economy.
Geisha House is as slick and shiny as a toy from Tokyo. Nestled in the heart of Hollywood, the Geisha House is the place to be if celeb-spotting is your main agenda. The elaborate, modern Japanese decor, kimono-clad geishas and deep red-colored walls. The honeycomb wall behind the bar at the entrance holds flat-screen TVs blasting anime, Japanese game shows and movies. Past that, the round dining room has a backlit streetscape mural lining one side, silk panels on the other, and a towering red column of stacked fireplaces in the middle. (Smokers can steal away to the second-floor patio, which has a retractable roof and separate bar.) And yes, there are actually geishas walking around.

Another fairly new venue on the Hollywood nightlife scene is David Judaken’s My House! This is the latest gem in Judaken’s nightlife empire which includes Mood, Opera, and Crimson. My House was designed by world famous architect Dodd Mitchell and is made to resemble a high end bachelor pad. The result is a great and exclusive venue that is currently the hottest ticket in town. If you plan on coming, then you better come CORRECT. I’ve personally seen hot blondes on a Saturday night get rejected at the door just because the club is THAT hot.
My House consists for 3 rooms and a great outdoor patio that was also a main selling point of the venue back in its Garden of Eden days. The “backyard” also has a Jacuzzi and the best feature of all, is a master bedroom upstairs with a leather-crafted bed (seen below). Wow!
Pixnation is excited to be one of the first event photography companies to capture Apple Hollywood! Conceived and run by owner Allison Melnick, Apple has quickly become one of the hottest venues in Hollywood. Celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Paris Hilton often flock to this playground catered to the stars. Apple consists for 4 areas. The large front main area, the back room bar, the decent sized patio, and the exclusive downstairs VIP lounge. Everything about this lounge/nightclub from the apple-shaped disco ball to the red, white and black déco screams CHIC. Currently GO Productions (http://www.goproductionsla.com) hosts FRIDAY nights there. For guestlist info you can email Justin@GOProductionsLA.com.

Level 3 is located on the third floor of the Hollywood and Highlands complex and is owned by the Lucky Strike team. Originally a club only catering to the 18+ crowd, Level 3 has re-invented itself as a “smaller sister” to the mammoth Highlands Nightclub upstairs. This stunningly stylish, modern interior is imbued with a racy Miami nightclub motif, complete with billowing white curtains and vinyl beds atop a stage. Four bars, a plush VIP lounge and an outside patio that leads to a mini-diner provide more party space. Hovering video screens flash dance-floor decadence as DJs spin house and hip-hop.
One off parties are the norm on Thursdays while both Fridays and Saturdays are hosted by 102.7 KIIS FM with their wildly popular DV8 parties.

Debuting in April 2006 in the heart of Sunset Boulevard, the ultra-exclusive Hyde Lounge has served as a gathering spot for Hollywood A-list celebrities ever since. A collaboration of Sam Nazarian and Brent Bolthouse of SBE and Bolthouse Productions fame, Hyde boasts a who’s who list of celebrities that have partied there such Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Jessica Simpson, Lindsey Lohan, and Hayden Panettiere among many others.
Offering a sophisticated, sexy ambiance, the true luxury of Hyde is in the details – from the lush, modernist décor to the attentive service to the exquisite and subtle flavors in the signature cocktails and menu of “small plates” created by renowned chef Katsuya Uechi. The lounge is intimate by design, accommodating only up to 100 to preserve a relaxed, ‘insider’ atmosphere. Hyde’s décor has a decidedly masculine vibe — lush leather and crocodile upholstery throughout; massive, hand-crafted wood tables; a vaulted copper ceiling; flickering candles suspended from the walls, and tones of taupe, amber and onyx. Open nightly from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m., a rotating roster of DJs spins nightly, focusing on rock music.

Since it’s stellar opening in 1993, the world-famous Viper Room has hosted the likes of Johnny Cash, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Stone Temple Pilots, Bruce Springsteen, Oasis, Counting Crows, Lenny Kravits, Pearl Jam, Iggy Pop, as well as an array of other internationally-established artists and the cult favorites of America’s underground.
Partly owned by actor Johnny Depp until 2004, the club is well known for having been the site where actor River Phoenix died of a drug overdose on Halloween morning in 1993. Even after Phoenix’s death, the club remained a hang-out for Hollywood hottest young actors. Regulars included Jennifer Aniston and Sean Penn.
Today the Viper Room is open 7 days a week to patrons over 21 years of age. The history of LA’s music scene, as well as that of pop culture and music in general is still being made nightly there.
I think Les Deux’s claim to fame is being Lauren Conrad’s hotspot of choice on The Hills. That being said, the place still remains one of the hottest clubs in Hollywood. Owned by the Dolce Group (who also own Geisha House in Hollywood), I had the pleasure of hearing the 2 founders of Dolce Group speak at USC about a year ago. They seem like 2 smart dudes.
Paying tribute to European Glamour, Les Deux is decked out in peach and black, peach-tinted mirrors hang on almost every wall, all lit by candlelabras. The downstairs includes a small dancefloor and bar with projections of old movie classics and vintage fashion shows. Past the dancefloor, Les Deux opens up to the outdoor terrace complete with a larger bar.
Every night features a different promotion group. Tuesdays are run by Pete at Sneaks VIP.
