Benny Benassi was born in Milan in 1967 and then grew up in the provincial town of Reggio Emilia, Italy. He started dj-ing when he ws still at school and has been producing with his cousin Alle Benassi for about ten years at Off Limits studios. His first as a producer was with the track “I feel so fine” by KMC feat. Dhany which went to number 1 in the UK club charts in 2001. The following year, working under the BENNY BENASSI presents THE BIZ trademark, Benny and Alle came up with “Satisfaction” and in one fell swoop ravaged the dancefloors and dominated sales charts round the world. The album “Hypnotica” followed. In the meantime Benny and Alle produced more melodic dance music under the Benassi Bros. banner. The charts of half the planet gave them thumbs up.

Benny has won tons of prizes and awards around the world and continues to tour the five continents with his unique style, once described as “electro, sort of house-tec, dirty and cool, sweaty and smooth”.

In 2008 Benny and Alle won a Grammy Award for his remix of Public Enemy’s “Bring the noise”. The new album “Rock n Rave” contains tracks featuring Black Box, Farenheit, Dino Lenny, Mia J, Public Enemy, Channing and Iggy Pop.

His own productions are released through Energy Productions in Italy and Ultra in U.S.A. At the same time, Benny talent scouts for his own brand new label, Pump-kin, designed to create space for young djs and producers of electronic club music.

DJ Tiesto is arguably the world’s #1 DJ. Born in the Netherlands, Tiesto’s rise to fame occurred in the early 2000s after his set at the first ID&T Innercity party and the release of In My Memory, his first solo album released in 2001 which contained 10 singles and 5 major hits.

His popularity catapulted from there and in 2004, The Athens Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (ATHOC) asked Tiësto to perform at the Olympic Games, making him the first DJ to play live on stage at an Olympic Games at the 2004 Summer Olympics opening ceremony in Athens for 90 minutes.

DJ Tiesto is currently the resident DJ at Privilege in Ibiza, playing every Monday until September 22. Afterward, his tour will take him around the world to Mexico.

One of the best known DJ’s on the scene today, Adam Goldstein aka DJ AM hails humble beginnings in Philadelphia.

He’s dated socialite and reality TV star Nicole Richie and also singer/actress Mandy Moore. He’s also been linked to Canadian supermodel Jessica Stam. Basically, he’s a bonafide pimp. Hah!

AM was also a former member of the rock band, Crazy Town, known for their hit, “Butterfly”.

He has also scratched on albums for Papa Roach, Madonna, Will Smith and Shifty.

He has played private events for celebs like Jim Carrey, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Stiller, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Kate Hudson.

He has recently collaborated with Travis Barker of blink-182 and +44 in several performances.

He is a part owner of the popular club LAX here in Hollywood.

DJ AM is also an avid ’sneakerhead’ and collects a variety of athletic shoes, the majority of which are by Nike . His collection of over 600 shoes, includes a pair of Nike Air Force 1 shoes that were created specifically for him, with his DJ AM logo appearing on the shoe itself.

I seen this dude around Hollywood a lot lately and he’s spun at a couple of our events. Here’s more info on the man they call “Rocky Rock”.

The newly crowned West Coast King of the d.2, DJ Rocky Rock began his DJ career in 1991 and eventually started battling in 1998, managing to place in the top three in almost every amateur DJ battle in the Bay Area, California.

By the year 2000, Rocky Rock started competing professionally with the (I.T.F.) International Turntable Federation, a prestigious worldwide DJ competition series. He ranked third place in the West Coast Finals. The following year, he placed first in both the regional DMC (DJ Mixing Competition) in Seattle and the Guitar Center Championships.

In 2004, DJ Rocky Rock hooked up with the Black Eyed Peas, a unique honor, and went to the Philippines to set up a springtime show for them in Manila, where he started a new company, Island Flavor. Not only did he bring the biggest hip hop act to play Manila, he opened the show with this furious DJ skills. He followed that up with a DMC championship in the Philippines and a 5th place in the DMC world championships.

In 2005, DJ Rocky Rock returned to Los Angeles to work directly with the Black Eyed Peas, scratching for them on their hit album Monkey Business. He also scratched on the song “Gone Going” and “Bebot”.

DJ Rocky Rock is currently involved with his major priority right now, working with the band Dirty Heads signed to Warner bros. by Producer/A&R Rob Cavallo. Some of Rocky’s other projects include working with Apl. de. Ap of the Black Eyed Peas, and his label/production company Jeepney Music.
