You just got out of another Hollywood club on a typical Saturday night…you’re tired of hot dogs and pizzas. You’re looking for a more legitimate meal…something like Norm’s or Denny’s, however, you still want to keep that red bull-buzzing body of yours going and the partying continuing (not to mention you haven’t sealed the deal with your new found friend). I have the perfect suggestion for you! Kitchen 24! The name says it all. Imagine Norm’s but transformed with a more fashionable looking menu, DJ spinning music, and drunk people sitting next to you expecting you to flirt with them (if you haven’t brought your own victim to sleaze on). The best part is the space is located conveniently right in the middle of the Cahuenga Corridor so you can get more mileage out of your $20 parking. This place is ideally if you’re partying at Ritual, Sugar, the Room, Beauty Bar, Citizen Smith, Opera and Crimson. They serve breakfast and lunch 24 hours while dinner is only up to 2 am. The dishes are your standard variety burgers, sandwiches, and salads with an American Hollywood flair. Other items on the menu consists of individually baked meatloaf, country friend pork chops, spaghetti and meatballs and turkey potpie, all of which are made with the freshest organic ingredients available. They also have installed a Reverse Osmosis Filtration system, which translates into the best tasting water, cocktails and food this side of the Hollywood sign.
The good thing is its priced decently ranging from $10 to $15 max so you won’t kill your wallet anymore than you already have at the club. I recommend sticking with the burgers and fries…for some reason they always serve that first amongst all the dishes in your party. It even beats the salad in coming before others. Go figure????
