Another fairly new venue on the Hollywood nightlife scene is David Judaken’s My House! This is the latest gem in Judaken’s nightlife empire which includes Mood, Opera, and Crimson. My House was designed by world famous architect Dodd Mitchell and is made to resemble a high end bachelor pad. The result is a great and exclusive venue that is currently the hottest ticket in town. If you plan on coming, then you better come CORRECT. I’ve personally seen hot blondes on a Saturday night get rejected at the door just because the club is THAT hot.
My House consists for 3 rooms and a great outdoor patio that was also a main selling point of the venue back in its Garden of Eden days. The “backyard” also has a Jacuzzi and the best feature of all, is a master bedroom upstairs with a leather-crafted bed (seen below). Wow!
Pixnation is excited to be one of the first event photography companies to capture Apple Hollywood! Conceived and run by owner Allison Melnick, Apple has quickly become one of the hottest venues in Hollywood. Celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Paris Hilton often flock to this playground catered to the stars. Apple consists for 4 areas. The large front main area, the back room bar, the decent sized patio, and the exclusive downstairs VIP lounge. Everything about this lounge/nightclub from the apple-shaped disco ball to the red, white and black déco screams CHIC. 1) Use your smoothest pick up line that you researched online; Open the set; Offer to buy them the most expensive drinks at the bar; tell them you drive a Lambo but it’s in the shop in Beverly Hills today, and take them home!….. Just kidding!
2) Do not follow step 1. In fact do not follow any set “tactics”. It’s true for the most part that you should be yourself. Why? Because being yourself involves being natural. Being natural exudes confidence and comfort. These are good things! =)
3) Do not go out of your way to buy hot women drinks. Sometimes it doesn’t hurt, but sometimes it does. Recognize that you do not have to do anything because you have equal if not greater self worth. Typically we are attracted to people we feel are on our same playing field if not even a step higher. Establish worth!
4) Have a good time. That’s why a lot of the times when we’re not “looking” to meet that fabulous person, they just appear.. because you were focusing on having a good time and others around you felt that you were having a good time and wanted to be apart of it. Welcome others by your body language and naturally having a good time does this.
5) Be like Match.com – “It’s OKAY to look” just like it’s okay to be interested in the opposite sex. It’s okay to express your interest to someone you are interested in. This provides 2 positive results. 1) It makes your intentions clear and unambiguous. 2) You find out whether he/she is interested and know whether to spend your time building that relationship or moving on aka saves time!
The delicate aspect is about how you let them know. You don’t want to come across as desperate or needy, but you want to put it out there. We’re talkin about the club here and there are tons of other guys that will hollar at this hottie if you don’t. Present like Fabolous says “I’m good all by myself, but baby you you make me better.”

Model Makeup Artist Shoot
This was a funny idea I had 2 weeks ago.
I was talking to a different makeup artist and then I came up with this idea as I was browsing her portfolio. Anyways, I told her the idea and I started thinking of who could do the photography and how I wanted everything to be shot.
Turns out that other makeup artist flaked but I had a photographer (after all pixnation.com is all about photography and fun events) who was already down for the idea.. so I thought.. screw it.. I am going to get this project cranked out because I think it’s a great concept for makeup artists who are usually on set or at a shoot at 6am and sometimes (hopefully seldom) they deal with cranky divas or actors/actresses who think they are too good for everyone. And the makeup artists are also there all the way till the end of the day when everyone is wrapped- they still have to stick around to help touch up or take off makeup.
Fortunately Lina who I had worked with on Clowns Vs Ninjas, was totally cheerful and ready to help out after I told her the idea.
Now all I needed was the models. WHO would want to get a plain ol before shot taken and then a NASTY DISGUSTING looking AFTER picture taken?? I thought this would be hard to find — a good looking person that could look nice enough in the before picture but would look messed up in the after picture due to the makeup not due to birth.
The first person I talked to online was Grace. I said.. hey tell me if u think this idea is funny.. etc etc.. Grace liked it and as I started to ask “who would do such a random role?” she was like.. “I’ll do it.” O.O So that was that. I had my “bad/ugly model” and then finding a cute girl that would look even better with makeup was easy. I hit up my UCLA friend Nicole and she was in like juice n gin. lol
